About Region Service

About the Job

Region Blekinge is facing an exciting development phase where our hospital areas are being modernized and developed for future healthcare needs. Several new constructions and renovations are planned, where high demands are placed on us as builders, particularly related to the environment and sustainability.

As an environmental engineer with us, you will work both strategically and operationally – from designing overarching guidelines and driving development projects to supporting project managers and other operations in their daily work. This is a role for you who want to make a real difference. Your work contributes to reduced climate impact, better resource utilization, and a more sustainable operation within Region Blekinge.

In your assignment, you will, among other things:

  • Develop strategies, routines, and working methods to increase reuse and circularity within regional properties.
  • Support project managers and property managers with sustainability work in our construction projects.
  • Work with the overall environmental work within the various operations of Region Service, such as monitoring environmental goals and compliance with laws.
  • Conduct environmental and sustainability monitoring by participating in various regional and national networks related to sustainability.

With us, you have the freedom to take responsibility, create structure in your own way, and independently drive your processes – while being an important part of an engaged team. Here you have both the space and the opportunity to make a real difference.

About You

You thrive when you can take initiative, find smarter solutions, and collaborate closely with others to achieve common goals.

You express yourself very well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good digital skills.
